How I work
At the heart of my work is a warm, collaborative, and humanistic approach. I believe that you are the expert on your own experience, and therapy is a space where your voice is honored, your strengths are recognized, and your growth is supported with compassion and curiosity.
My approach to therapy is collaborative, thoughtful, and tailored to you.
I take a flexible, individualized approach to the work. Some sessions may focus on exploring patterns, relationships, and past experiences, while others may be more present-focused—helping you navigate what’s coming up in your day-to-day life.
Many of the people I work with already have a strong level of insight. Together, we focus on moving beyond understanding into something more experiential—so you’re not just thinking differently, but actually feeling and responding differently.
I draw from attachment-focused and psychodynamic work, as well as mindfulness-based approaches, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and elements of narrative and somatic work. I also integrate EMDR when it feels appropriate. Rather than applying a single method, I tailor the work to support both insight and meaningful, lasting change.
You’re worth the investment.

SCHEDULE A FREE CONSULTATION
We’ll start with a brief consultation call to talk about what’s bringing you in, answer any questions you may have, and see if it feels like a good fit to work together.
INITIAL SESSION TOGETHER
In our first session, we’ll begin exploring your current challenges, patterns, and what you’re hoping to get out of therapy. This helps us build a shared understanding of where you are and where you’d like to go.
COLLABORATIVE GOAL SETTING
Together, we’ll clarify what feels most important to focus on—whether that’s specific challenges or broader patterns—so our work feels intentional and aligned with your needs.
ONGOING SESSIONS
From there, we’ll continue meeting regularly, adjusting the pace and focus as needed. Over time, the work becomes about deepening insight, shifting patterns, and helping you feel more grounded and connected in your life.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
-
You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Many people come in feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure of themselves—even if things look “fine” on the outside.
If you’re noticing patterns that feel hard to change, struggling with anxiety or self-doubt, or wanting a deeper understanding of yourself, therapy can be a helpful place to start.
-
Sessions are collaborative and tailored to you. Some may focus on exploring patterns, emotions, and past experiences, while others may be more present-focused—helping you navigate what’s coming up in your day-to-day life.
You don’t need to prepare anything in advance—therapy is a space where we make sense of things together.
-
That’s completely okay! Many people come into therapy unsure of where to start.
Part of the process is slowing down and making sense of what’s coming up together. You don’t need to have the “right” words or a clear plan—just showing up is enough.
-
The length of therapy varies depending on your goals and what you’re working through.
Some people come in for a shorter period focused on a specific issue, while others choose to engage in longer-term work for deeper exploration and ongoing support. We’ll check in regularly to make sure the process feels helpful and aligned with what you need.
